Grand Master Chang’s Taekwondo CANADA is located at 4380 South Service Rd Unit 17, L7L 5Y6 Burlington Ontario CANADA and is recognized as a leading taekwondo school serving students of all ages.
Our facility is a World Class Premiere Taekwondo Academy and recognized as one of the largest modern martial arts academy in Burlington Ontario that specializes in developing Olympic level athletes and stuntmen/women in the film industry of Hollywood blockbuster films, making us one of the best martial arts school environments for elite training.
Founder, Grandmaster Tommy Chang, is a world-renowned Korean 8th Dan Hapkido and 8th Dan Taekwondo Certified by World Taekwondo Kukkiwon, who was the former Vice President of Sport (VP Sport) for the World Taekwondo Federation of Canada (TAEKWONDO CANADA). Along with that, he was the past 1st VP of the Ontario Taekwondo Association (TAEKWONDO ONTARIO) and Head of Team CANADA, strengthening the credibility of our martial arts/taekwondo academy.

With its Headquarters found in the heart of Downtown Toronto, GMC has over 29 years of establishment in teaching Tiny Tigers (Ages 3-5), Children (Ages 6-12), and Teens & Adults (Ages 13+), reinforcing our position as a trusted taekwondo school across generations.
All of our staff are certified through the Canadian Center for Child Protection and have gone through First Aid and CPR training. Our instructors are certified and recognized through, either, World Taekwondo, Kukkiwon, Pan-Am Taekwondo Union, Taekwondo Canada and/or Taekwondo Ontario, ensuring elite standards at our martial arts academy.
Grand Master Chang’s is the leading martial arts school and we can be found in many locations in Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This includes: Burlington/Oakville, Kitchener, Mississauga, Vaughan (Woodbridge) and Toronto.
GMC is pleased to announce we are one of the first Martial Arts Schools in Canada to participate in the Safe Place Program through the Peel Regional Police, further elevating our reputation as a responsible martial arts academy.
Black Belt World Canada is honored to have been chosen as the pilot school in Canada for the Talk Today program by Taekwondo Canada and Taekwondo Ontario, declared Grand Master Tommy Chang. This program has a significant impact on the mental health of individuals and is essential in creating awareness and spreading education through the Taekwondo community. As Grand Master Tommy Chang himself faced challenging times in recent years, along with many friends and family members, he realizes the significance of prioritizing mental health. In this formal statement, we emphasize the significance of mental health and our dedication to promoting it through the Taekwondo community.

KIDS TAEKWONDO PROGRAMS
Parents choose to put their children in martial arts for a variety of reasons, often selecting a best taekwondo school to ensure quality instruction. Our certified instructors will be there to help your child build and develop a strong mental and physical foundation for their future within our professional martial arts school. While having fun becoming physically fit, you will see your child develop a strong mindset through the values taught in class. We have a comprehensive solution for you. There really is a safe, natural and extremely effective way to take charge and positively impact every aspect of your child’s life. It doesn’t take medicine, therapy, harsh actions, or persuading your kids to change their behaviour.
